Rock Climbing

On Sunday we went rock climbing with Warwick. It was a beautifully clear day, great to be outdoors! We took a walk along the cliffs, trying to find the perfect spot to "scramble" down the face of the cliff to where we would be climbing from.

We packed in snacks and munched at the bottom before we climbed. It really was a great morning, mixed with being pretty scared on the edge of a sheer cliff!

Birthday Weekend Away!!

Last weekend I took Paul away for his birthday. It was all a surprise for him! I secretly booked and made all the plans. All he knew was that he wasn't allowed to make any plans for that weekend. We didn't go up on the bike this time, so we were able to pack in alot more essentials to prepare us for the cooold weekend.
Our room was perfect, complete with under floor heating and a gorgeous view.We had a TV in our room too, although we only used it once to watch a movie in bed the one evening. We ate at the lodge restaurant, they made fantastic food! We also decided to go on the Karkloof Canopy Tours! WOW! What an experience... swinging through the trees like two happy monkeys.
 We had such a special weekend together, spending quality time with eachother
