Birthday Weekend Away!!

Last weekend I took Paul away for his birthday. It was all a surprise for him! I secretly booked and made all the plans. All he knew was that he wasn't allowed to make any plans for that weekend. We didn't go up on the bike this time, so we were able to pack in alot more essentials to prepare us for the cooold weekend.
Our room was perfect, complete with under floor heating and a gorgeous view.We had a TV in our room too, although we only used it once to watch a movie in bed the one evening. We ate at the lodge restaurant, they made fantastic food! We also decided to go on the Karkloof Canopy Tours! WOW! What an experience... swinging through the trees like two happy monkeys.

Holiday in Kosi Bay

Paul and I went up to Kosi Bay for a few days for a holiday.
We stayed with friends who live there and had a lovely relaxing break!
We went fishing, swimming and spent time on the beach. Paul and I set our tent up in their garden.
